Baby Shower Invites

This is the inside of the invitation for my daughter Baby shower. The outside was a treasure chest. The inside monkey was about 3" tall. The theme in the baby's room is Pirate Monkeys. I enlarged the monkey and cut them out of removable vinyl for the baby room walls.

Thumper

Thumper is the nickname for my daughters baby. Her and her husband came up with this name as soon as they found out they were expecting. My son-in-law works for Disney so it had to have something to do with Disney.

My dear friend Margaret traced this from a color book page I sent her. She saved it as a file that I could cut on my Cricut. This picture was my first attempt to cut this. It is only about 4 1/2" tall and cut out of card stock. It was a big a pain to put together but was adorable when it was all done. I cut a larger one out of iron on vinyl for a t-shirt. I also cut out two out of removable vinyl for the bedroom door.  I'm having so much fun with Cricut.

Starting a Blog

My friend Margaret convinced me that I should have this blog so I'm going to give it a try.

My daughter in pregnant. She is due in the middle of August. I'm helping her with the final things to get the room in order for the baby. I'm in the process of cover the rocking chair for the baby's room. Then I will be moving on to making bumper pads for the crib. Will be posting pictures when I get done. I also will be posting lots of pictures of my new grandson when he gets here.
